  • Lisa Cornelissen
    Registered Veterinary Technician
    Lisa grew up in Mt. Brydges where she played baseball as a kid and rode horses. It was at a young age that Lisa knew she wanted to work with animals. Lisa always had a dog or dogs and a cat, so she pursued animal health as her career. After she graduated in 1997, Lisa worked in Windsor for a few years, then decided home in Mt. Brydges is where she wanted to be. Lisa got a job at the Strathroy Animal Clinic in Oct 2000 and has been happily working there ever since.

  • Karen Honchar
    Registered Veterinary Technician
    Karen joined the Strathroy Animal Clinic in June 2014. She graduated from St Clair College in 1999. Before coming to us she spent 8 years in a busy after hours emergency clinic and is happy to be back in a family practice setting similar to where she spent her first 7 years as a technician.

  • Courtney Davidson
    Veterinary Assistant

    Courtney started at the Strathroy Animal Clinic in March of 2014 after graduating from St Clair College.  She is a critical part of our surgical assist team making sure all the equipment is maintained and properly sterilized.  She is also very adept at taking dental xrays for our patients.

    Receptionist
    Darryl is a front office staff member at the Strathroy Animal Clinic. While his background and training is in customer service and sales, his love of all animals great and small has lead him to working in the veterinary industry.

  • Beth Thompson
    Receptionist
    Beth has worked at the Strathroy Animal Clinic since January 2011. She has always taken an interest in helping animals as well as people. Her previous work experiences have always been associated with customer service or animal care and at the Strathroy Animal Clinic Beth plays a part in providing both! Beth obtained her Bachelor of Science in Zoology at the University of Guelph and through her past employment endeavours, she has enjoyed working with a variety of animals including dogs, cats, pigs, rabbits, goats, alpacas, deer and even a camel!

  • Ailsa Schmitt
    Registered Veterinary Technician

    Ailsa graduated from St.Clair College in June 2016 and  started at the Strathroy Animal Clinic shortly after. Ailsa lives on a small hobby farm where she has many horses, goats, cats and dogs.  Ailsa has a lab named Chevy, a rescue shepherd named Gidget and a horse named Dakota. In her spare time, Ailsa enjoys playing soccer, curling and horseback riding.

  • Becca Bakker
    Registered Veterinary Technician

    Becca Bakker graduated from Ridgetown College in 2003. She lives with her husband, her 3 cats -  Asha, Buddy,  her rescue Bengal Gatto, and their dog Delmy. Becca also works on their family dairy farm where they milk around 90 Holstein cows. Her primary responsibility on the farm is calf care. She also has a special interest in animal nutrition. Becca has joined the veterinary team in 2016 and is loving getting to know everyone and their pets. Outside of work when she isn't busy on the dairy farm she enjoys reading and photography.
